US President Donald Trump was seen with a significant bruise on his hand today. This type of bruising can be attributed to certain medications or aging, according to a pharmacist. The incident occurred following Trump’s speech at the World Economic Forum (WEF) where he confused Greenland and Iceland multiple times.
During a signing ceremony for his new ‘Board of Peace’ initiative in Davos, Trump displayed a noticeable bruise on the back of his left hand. The bruise extended from his middle finger knuckle to the base of his thumb, showing redness around the edges and a dark blue center, with slight puffiness in the hand and fingers.
The White House explained that the bruise resulted from the President hitting his hand on the signing table during the event. The statement also mentioned his daily aspirin use, making him more prone to bruising.
According to pharmacist Thorrun Govind, as people age, their skin becomes more fragile, leading to increased susceptibility to bruising, especially in areas like the hands and arms. The use of aspirin can also contribute to easier bruising by affecting the body’s clotting ability.
Furthermore, a previous instance of hand bruising on Trump was attributed to tissue damage from frequent handshaking. Concerns regarding Trump’s mental acuity resurfaced after his repeated confusion between Greenland and Iceland during the recent WEF speech.
Psychologist Dr. John Gartner highlighted signs of deterioration in Trump’s verbal abilities, suggesting potential cognitive decline. While Trump claimed success in brain function tests and received a clean bill of health from his physician, ongoing concerns about his mental state persist.
