Alton Towers will soon unveil a thrilling Bluey-themed rollercoaster for fans of the popular Heeler family. The ride, named Bluey the Ride: Here Come the Grannies!, features Bluey and Bingo dressed as grannies, with the mischievous duo Janet and Rita leading the way in their car.
This new addition marks the first-ever Bluey-themed rollercoaster globally, joining other beloved CBeebies characters at the theme park. Inspired by a season one episode called “Grannies,” the ride captures the playful essence of the show as Bingo and Bluey embark on hilarious adventures in their granny personas.
Natasha Spence, Events Director of Live Entertainment at BBC Studios, expressed excitement about bringing the energy of the Grannies to life at Alton Towers Resort. Additionally, the resort is introducing more Bluey-themed rooms at the CBeebies Land Hotel, modeled after the Heeler family’s vibrant home.
Families can immerse themselves in the Bluey experience with themed rooms featuring bunk beds resembling Bluey and Bingo’s bedroom. Moreover, larger groups can book Bluey suites with separate kids’ areas and themed playrooms for imaginative playdates at the Heeler house.
Further details about the new rollercoaster and its opening date will be revealed soon. For more information on CBeebies Land and ticket bookings, visit the official Alton Towers website.
