An adventurer captured a chilling photograph of an unidentified flying object hovering above the confidential Area 51 military installation.
During his desert expedition near the Nevada base on January 14, videographer Anders Otteson observed a peculiar aircraft in the night sky resembling an equilateral triangle, commonly referred to by UFO researchers as the ‘Dorito’. Otteson, who operates the YouTube channel Uncanny Expeditions, emphasized the absence of wings or flat tailing edges on the mysterious object.
The videographer speculated on the nature of the sighting, pondering whether it was a classified test flight or a routine training exercise. Additionally, he mentioned intercepting unusual chatter on unencrypted radio frequencies around Area 51, with code words related to snacks and food such as “imperial with garlic” and “pretzel snack”.
Despite the enigmatic nature of the incident, Otteson suggested that the ‘Dorito’ could potentially be a bomber plane, and the odd phrases heard might be military terminology. This was not the first time Otteson had encountered the triangular UFO shape, recalling similar sightings in 2014 over Wichita, Kansas, and Amarillo, Texas.
Area 51 has long been shrouded in secrecy, fueling decades of conspiracy theories surrounding its operations. While some assert that the base harbors extraterrestrial life, the US government maintains that it serves as a flight testing facility.
In a separate incident, a mysterious tower spotted via Google Earth at Area 51 sparked speculation about alien technology among concerned social media users. The triangular structure, casting a long shadow, was discovered on Google Maps and drew the attention of online observers.
