A new record-breaking roller coaster, Falcons Flight, has been unveiled at the Six Flags resort in Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia. This towering steel coaster stands at a staggering 195 meters, towering over London’s iconic Big Ben. The resort, part of the vast Qiddiya City development, is expected to attract millions of visitors annually.
In addition to Falcons Flight, the resort will feature a custom Formula One track, a Dragon Ball theme park, and a water park. Six Flags, known for its theme parks in America, was the first attraction to open in the city, with Falcons Flight claiming titles for the world’s tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster during its recent soft opening.
Manufacturers Intamin began work on Falcons Flight in April 2023, completing the final installation in December 2024. Theme park enthusiast Shawn Sanbrooke, from the popular Themepark Worldwide channel on YouTube, described the ride as “incredible” and “phenomenal” after experiencing it firsthand.
Shawn shared his excitement about the ride’s thrilling elements and the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Falcons Flight is just one of the many impressive attractions at Six Flags, including the Sirocco Tower, Gyrospin, Iron Rattler, and Spitfire roller coasters, each breaking records in their respective categories.
Former theme park employee Shawn expressed his emotional reaction to the park, calling it a surreal experience. The newly unveiled Six Flags resort promises an unforgettable adventure for thrill-seekers and enthusiasts alike.
