Singer and actress Selena Gomez is facing a lawsuit from investors alleging fraud for allegedly failing to meet obligations in developing and promoting her mental health startup. The investors, who put in around $1.2 million in Wondermind Global, a platform aimed at enhancing mental fitness, claim in a lawsuit filed in federal court in Delaware that promises made by Gomez, a prominent social media figure with over 500 million followers, were not fulfilled. They assert that Gomez and other company executives did not follow through on commitments, such as the creation of a mobile application, despite Gomez supposedly agreeing to contractual obligations. The investors criticize the company for not meeting basic responsibilities like timely payments to employees and vendors, stating that the venture was not viable. Gomez’s representative has not responded to requests for comments. The lawsuit reveals that the investors were unaware of the company’s difficulties until a news report surfaced in September 2025, leading them to seek reimbursement for their investments and legal costs.
