“Police Seek Man in Connection with Dog Attack on Mother and Baby”

A man police seek to question regarding a dog attack that left a woman and her baby injured has been captured in a photo. The incident occurred between 6:30 pm and 6:50 pm on Friday, September 5, on Stephenson Drive in the vicinity of Leicester’s Newfoundpool area. According to authorities, a woman accompanied by her young child and baby in a stroller was approached by a dog.

The woman and the stroller were both knocked over by the off-leash dog, resulting in minor injuries. The mother received a scratch on her back, while the baby sustained a bump and graze on her forehead. Leicestershire Police released a statement indicating, “Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to after a young family was attacked by a dog in Leicester.” The dog’s owner intervened, pulling the dog away before fleeing towards Samson Road.

Police have shared an image of the man they aim to identify in connection with the incident, urging him or anyone with information about him to come forward. “He could have information about this incident so we would urge anyone who may know who he is or the man himself to get in touch.
