A young boy is currently hospitalized in critical condition, undergoing a life-threatening struggle, while authorities took a 25-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man into custody.
The child was swiftly transported to the hospital by emergency responders in Cambridgeshire on Saturday, where he was discovered in a severe state.
Medical professionals provided immediate care to the infant on-site before promptly transferring him to the hospital.
At 11 am on January 3, the ambulance services raised the alarm, prompting law enforcement to swiftly respond to the incident at St John’s Chase in March.
The man and woman were apprehended by officers on suspicions of causing serious bodily harm (GBH) and being in possession of Class B/C substances.
A spokesperson from Cambridgeshire Police stated, “We received a call from the ambulance service around 11 am on Saturday, January 3, regarding a baby boy being treated by medics in a critical, life-threatening condition at St John’s Chase, March.”
The spokesperson further mentioned, “The infant was taken to the hospital and remains in critical condition.”
“The 25-year-old woman and 22-year-old man, both residents of March, have been detained on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) and possessing Class B/C substances.”
