Campbell highlighted the strong community connections of the volunteer group, emphasizing that the dedication of volunteers is essential for the smooth execution of such events. He praised communities like Corner Brook and Stephenville for their enthusiastic support and participation in the Games.
Coordinating clothing for ten teams is a significant task, but Huxter recognizes the impact it has on creating lasting memories for the athletes. Despite playing a smaller role in events like the opening ceremonies, he finds joy in contributing to the athletes’ positive experience.
Huxter expressed satisfaction in seeing athletes proudly don the clothes he helped prepare, noting the sense of pride they exude while representing their regions. He emphasized the collective effort of volunteers in ensuring the success of the Games.
