Video Shows ICE Agent Shooting at Unarmed Driver

Date:

A shocking new video reveals the moments before Renee Nicola Good was shot at three times by an immigration agent, despite her calm response of “that’s fine, dude, I’m not mad at you.” The footage, seemingly recorded on an ICE officer’s camera, depicts the mother of three turning her car away before shots were fired, piercing her windshield and side window as she drove by.

Campaigners argue that the video contradicts allegations that Ms. Good deliberately tried to run over the officer. In the video, Ms. Good’s partner confronts the officer, filming the encounter and asserting their rights as US citizens and former Navy veterans.

Following the incident, there have been conflicting views on the events. While Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and former President Donald Trump claimed the shooting was self-defense, Vice President JD Vance defended the ICE agent’s actions, stating he was protected by immunity while performing his duties.

The Minneapolis community has been divided over the incident, with Mayor Jacob Frey dismissing claims of self-defense, leading to protests in the city. Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin maintained that the ICE agent acted in self-defense, labeling the incident as an act of domestic terrorism.

Amid the controversy, Vice President JD Vance criticized the media for misrepresenting the situation and reiterated his stance that Ms. Good posed a threat to the officer. The unfolding events have sparked debates and demonstrations in support of Ms. Good and against the actions of immigration enforcement agencies.
