“Teacher Admits to Assaulting Teen After 25,000 Texts”

Date:

A 45-year-old teacher, Allison Havemann-Niedrach, has confessed to sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy after exchanging approximately 25,000 text messages with him. Havemann-Niedrach, a mother of two from New Jersey, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of aggravated sexual assault, potentially leading to a 12-year prison sentence.

According to a police investigation, the illicit relationship between Havemann-Niedrach and the teenager commenced in January 2024 and persisted until her apprehension in June of the same year. Colleagues reported observing Havemann-Niedrach having lunch with the student daily, with one witness noting her engaging in what seemed like flirtatious touching of the boy’s back and neck.

The student’s sister witnessed him inside the teacher’s car before he disclosed the sexual misconduct to his mother. Subsequently, authorities discovered a trove of 25,000 text messages, including intimate photos and videos, exchanged between the teacher and the student.

Prosecutors revealed that Havemann-Niedrach, described on her LinkedIn profile as a dedicated educator, displayed an “obsessive” infatuation with the victim. The student disclosed to the police that their encounters extended to meetings at the teacher’s residence and hotels.

Sentencing for Havemann-Niedrach is scheduled for May 7, 2026, with the prosecution advocating for a 12-year incarceration term and the revocation of her teaching credentials. The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the admission of guilt by the former teacher for sexual offenses against a minor student, with plans to impose strict penalties including Parole Supervision for Life and sex offender registration.
