Professional Strongman Eddie Hall paid tribute to the late bodybuilder Pa O’Dwyer, who passed away at the age of 41. Pa, a prominent figure in UK strongman competitions, was known for his friendly personality, humor, and remarkable strength, which led him to achieve five victories as Ireland’s Strongest Man. Originally working on roads in his 20s, Pa transitioned to intensive weight training, establishing himself as one of Europe’s strongest individuals and even clinching the UK’s Strongest Man title in 2018.

Expressing deep sorrow over Pa’s demise, Hall described him as a source of strength, joy, and warmth wherever he went. Pa is survived by his beloved partner Layna and three children, Sienna, Rocco, and Freddy. In memory of Pa, Hall shared a GoFundMe page to support his family, which has raised £73,600 of its £130,000 target.

Numerous individuals honored Pa online, highlighting his amiable nature and recent heartwarming moments with his son, such as playing with Lego. Tributes poured in, with one Reddit user expressing profound sadness at the loss of such a kind and empathetic individual. The Irish Strength Association and Giants Live also praised Pa’s legacy in strength sports, emphasizing his larger-than-life persona and the lasting impact he had on those he encountered.
