“Sky Unveils Ultimate Streaming Bundle: Disney+, Netflix, HBO Max & Hayu for £24/Mo”

Date:

Sky has unveiled an exciting new update that is sure to capture attention. The television provider has announced a compelling subscription package that combines several of the most popular streaming services worldwide, all at a reduced monthly rate. For just £24 per month, both new and current customers will gain access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the highly anticipated HBO Max app, slated for release next month.

According to Sky, this bundled offer provides excellent value for money, packing approximately £20 worth of streaming apps at a discounted price. Considering that Sky’s base plan currently costs £15 per month, the additional content effectively becomes available for just an extra £9.

But that’s not all. Subscribers to the Ultimate TV plan will also enjoy access to over 130 channels, including Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime, Sky History, and more.

Moreover, by signing up with Sky Cinema, users will benefit from a dedicated Disney movie channel integrated directly into their planner. This feature allows them to enjoy Disney blockbusters without needing to open the Disney+ app separately.

Existing Disney+ subscribers who directly subscribe can seamlessly transfer their current plan—be it Standard or Premium—to Sky while retaining their profiles and viewing history.

Sky has confirmed that all supported apps will be easily accessible from the homepage, with fully integrated content. This integration enables users to discover shows and movies through voice search and save them to a Playlist for later viewing.

The new Sky Ultimate plan will be compatible with Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms.

Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, described the update as a “new era” for Sky and NOW, as it brings Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu together in a single subscription. She emphasized that customers will enjoy an integrated viewing experience and exceptional value, with HBO Max included at no additional charge for NOW Entertainment customers.

Sky emphasizes that this move underscores its commitment to innovation, simplifying the process for viewers to access premium entertainment in one convenient location.

INCLUDED IN THE UPDATE:

• Netflix Standard with Ads
• Disney+ Standard with Ads – available from March (exact date TBD)
• HBO Max Basic with Ads – launching in the UK & Ireland on 26th March
• Hayu starting in July, with a selection of top shows accessible from March
• PLUS: Over 130 channels from Sky
