Sky has revealed upcoming price increases for certain broadband and TV subscribers starting in April. Broadband customers can expect a monthly rise of £3, while premium TV package prices will go up by £1 to £3. Sky will notify customers about these adjustments starting today.
Under Sky’s flexible pricing model, customers under a minimum contract term can cancel their subscription without incurring early termination fees. The revised prices will take effect in April. Additionally, Sky has announced that millions of TV customers will receive HBO Max, Disney+, and Hayu as part of their standard package from next month.
Netflix is already included in the package, increasing the total value of streaming apps to £20 per month. A Sky spokesperson stated that the price adjustments aim to support investments in fast broadband, top entertainment, live sports, and reliable services while managing industry-wide cost increases.
Recently, Sky Mobile customers experienced bill increases, with most bills rising by £1.50 per month, equating to an annual increase of £18. Some customers may see varying bill adjustments. The updated prices will be reflected in bills from February 14, 2026, marking the first price change for in-contract Sky Mobile customers in over seven years.
Customers dissatisfied with the price hikes within their minimum contract term have the option to terminate their package without penalties. The price of the Sky Mobile social tariff for low-income users will remain unchanged.
For customers out of contract, it may be beneficial to compare prices online to potentially save money on mobile and broadband services. Evaluating current usage of minutes, texts, or broadband speed can help identify areas where cost savings can be made. Switching providers or negotiating with the current provider for better deals are viable options. Eligibility for a cheaper social tariff should be checked, especially for those claiming benefits.
