According to a statement from Greater Manchester Police, three high school students are reported to have fallen through a window on the bus’s top deck. The authorities mentioned that all three students have been transported to the hospital with potentially serious injuries.

A local councilor representing Ashton-in-Makerfield South Ward expressed, “I have had discussions with our local policing team today. As confirmed, three young individuals fell from a top-floor side window of a school bus and have been admitted to Manchester Children’s Hospital, with some facing potentially life-altering injuries.”
The councilor added, “The road has been reopened following the completion of investigations. I have reached out to the schools involved to offer council support if required. My heartfelt thoughts and support go out to the affected children and families.”
