“Fatal Motorcycle Crash Near Stratford Claims One Life”

A fatal three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and two cars occurred east of Stratford near Shakespeare village, resulting in one death and three individuals sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. The incident took place at the junction of Highway 8 and Road 104 around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, prompting police response.

The deceased, a 61-year-old man from Kitchener, was the motorcyclist and was pronounced dead at the scene, while the three occupants of the cars were taken to the hospital for treatment. Following the collision, the intersection was shut down for an extended period for investigative purposes but has since been reopened to traffic.
