Darts Champ Luke Littler Declines Jungle Challenge

Date:

Luke Littler firmly states that he will not be joining his friend Angry Ginge in the jungle, despite the YouTuber’s recent victory on a reality TV show. Littler, a darts champion, commended Angry Ginge, also known as Morgan Burtwistle, on his win but affirmed that he has no intention of subjecting himself to the challenging trials featured on the show, “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.”

The 18-year-old darts prodigy from Warrington expressed his reluctance to participate in extreme challenges like consuming unusual foods such as kangaroo anus or crocodile penis, as part of the show. Littler explained, “Would I go in the jungle myself? No, I actually wouldn’t.” He added, “At first I said I would for the right money, but I’ve been watching it now, and it’s no. I just couldn’t. No way.”

Reflecting on the grueling conditions of the jungle and the daunting trials showcased on the show, Littler emphasized his decision by stating, “Being like, what is it, 23 hours away on the flight, away from home, eating that stuff. Nah. Not good. Not good.” He further remarked, “Watching it, I don’t think I could actually do it. No. Especially the first two trials, especially what (rapper) Aitch had to do. I said to (girlfriend) Faith, like, no, I’m not doing it ever. No way. There’s no way.”

Meanwhile, Burtwistle emerged as the winner of the show, with Tom Read Wilson and Eastenders actress Shona McGarty securing second and third place, respectively. In one of the final challenges, Angry Ginge faced snakes and critters in a trial dubbed “Helmet of Hell,” while Read Wilson consumed camel’s brain and pig’s vagina.

After celebrating his friend’s victory in Australia, Littler attended a Manchester United football match at Molineux stadium, where the team secured a 4-1 victory against Wolves. Captured on TV cameras next to the head of fan engagement for Manchester United, Littler received a response from United captain Bruno Fernandes, who appreciated Littler’s tweet about enjoying his first away game with a darts emoji.
