Dart Sensation Luke Littler Humorously Considers £50M Jungle Offer

Date:

Luke Littler humorously mentioned that he might entertain the idea of entering the I’m a Celebrity jungle if a substantial £50 million offer was on the table, despite his current reservations after watching the show this season.

The 18-year-old dart sensation has been closely following this year’s season to support his friend, Angry Ginge. Speculation arose about Littler’s potential participation in the show following Ginge’s appearance, with Littler indicating his openness if the financial incentive was right.

When questioned about the possibility of joining the show, Littler responded, “Perhaps, if the offer is attractive enough. I could consider it for a short period.” However, he has now clarified that the daunting challenges portrayed on the show have made him hesitant about the prospect.

During an interview with talkSPORT, Littler expressed his change of heart, stating, “Although I initially mentioned being open to it for the right compensation, witnessing the challenges has made me reconsider. It seems too challenging for me to handle.”

When asked if he would reconsider for £10 million, Littler declined. However, when the interviewer proposed a staggering £50 million, Litter responded with a tentative “maybe.”

He elaborated on his reluctance, mentioning, “The thought of encountering snakes and similar challenges is unsettling.” Despite some jesting about potentially participating, he ultimately dismissed the idea.

While Angry Ginge prepares for upcoming challenges on the show, Littler is gearing up to defend his title at the PDC World Darts Championship, commencing at Ally Pally next month. Last year, he made history as the youngest world darts champion and now returns as the reigning world No. 1, aiming to retain the Sid Waddell trophy.

Littler’s quest to emulate Gary Anderson’s achievement of retaining the title after a decade begins with a first-round match against Darius Labanauskas on December 11.
