A teenage girl was horrifically gang raped by 23 men who allegedly passed her around and took her to new attackers at each drop-off point.
The victim, aged 19, claims she was abducted by a man on her way home from her friend’s house on March 29 in Varanasi, northern India. She reported that she was taken to a cafe in a nearby town, three miles away, where she met her next attacker.
According to local media, the teenager was then taken by another man and his pal to a highway, where they sexually assaulted her. They then dropped her off in another town called Nadesar.
At this point, the victim was forced to go to a second cafe by five men, who reportedly drugged and gang-raped her. The helpless girl was then transported to a hotel and made to massage another stranger before he raped her.
As she attempted to flee the venue, she was snatched by another man and taken to a second hotel where she was assaulted again.
Sadly, there was no end in sight for the fragile victim as she was relocated to a warehouse almost two hours away from her home. There she was assaulted by three men, reports Daily Mail.
The victim alleged that she finally escaped to a shopping centre close to her hometown, where she was offered noodles by two strangers. Hungry and alone, she was reportedly drugged via the food and was carried away by the strange men.
The victim was reportedly attacked again and then dumped before someone else picked her up. She was assaulted by five men in another hotel, according to the reports.
She miraculously escaped and got home to her family. She filed a police report on April 4, after the week-long ordeal.
Police said six people have been arrested and charged following the mass sex attack. Detectives are continuing to investigate by raiding the other locations.
