Date:

Three individuals lost their lives in separate road accidents in Quebec overnight. The first incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. when a vehicle veered off Route 132 East near Chemin Mistral in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse. The driver, a 35-year-old man who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, seemed to have lost control for unknown reasons and was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was temporarily closed but reopened by 4:45 a.m.

Later, at approximately 3:20 a.m., emergency services responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route 138 near Franquelin. Four individuals were in the vehicle when the driver appeared to lose control, resulting in one fatality and the other three occupants in critical condition, facing life-threatening injuries. Two lanes in the accident area were closed on Sunday morning.

A third car accident was reported around 6 a.m. on Route 138 in Saint-Tite-des-Caps. The driver, reasons still unclear, veered out of the lane while traveling eastbound, causing the car to roll multiple times. A man and a woman in their 30s were inside the vehicle, both sustaining serious injuries. Sadly, the 37-year-old woman passed away at the hospital, while the man remains in critical condition.

Emergency services are investigating these tragic incidents that claimed the lives of three individuals, prompting road closures and critical medical care for the injured parties.
