To present Good Morning Britain this week, Ranvir Singh wore a faux leather midi labelled as a ‘knockout’ dress from a brand loved by the Princess of Wales herself.
The beige shirt dress hailed from Sosandar, a chic womenswear brand that Kate Middleton has been spotted wearing a few times. From leggings to swimsuits, Sosandar is one of Kate’s go-to brands, and now appears to be one of Ranvir’s.
The exact dress is the Sosandar Beige Faux Leather Longline Shirt Dress, £89. Ranvir kept the look pretty simple, styling the dress with a pair of white court heels, and minimalist jewellery, as well as removing the belt from around the waist.
Labelled on the website as a ‘do-it-all’ shirt dress, this leather midi is so versatile for the transitional and often unpredictable British weather.
As much as we want 30 degrees of sunshine all summer long, that isn’t very realistic, and this dress will see you through the often chilly spring and autumn months while keeping you looking classy and stylish.

The belted waist really helps to cinch in your figure and give an amazing figure-flattering silhouette, while the gold hardware detailing adds a touch of luxe. As Ranvir did, this dress can be worn to the office or a meeting in the day and then zhuzhed up with some heels and jewellery for a night out after work.
We suggest styling the dress with a pair of suede knee-high boots for an on-trend everyday look and throwing over a neutral-coloured trench coat for days when the weather is chillier.
Alternatively, River Island’s Brown Faux Leather Shirt Midi Dress is currently on sale for £34, and features short sleeves that make it perfect for the springtime.
If you’re not a fan of faux leather, Phase Eight’s Willow Utility Midi Dress, currently £103.24, has a similar utilitarian belted look but is made from a more breathable fabric.
