The Nintendo Switch 2 became available to pre-order at a variety of retailers earlier this week, however the in-demand gaming console quickly sold out at EE, Amazon, Very and Argos. Gamers will be thrilled to hear the Nintendo Switch 2 is now back in stock at Very and Argos, but shoppers are advised to act fast with it likely selling out again.
Very is selling the Nintendo Switch 2 for £395.99, while Argos has the Nintendo Switch 2 and Mario Kart World Bundle priced at £429.99. The new and exclusive Mario Kart World game will only be available on Switch 2, but gamers can still enjoy compatible games from their Switch library on the new console.
It’s worth noting some games may not be supported or fully compatible with the Switch 2. A heap of new accessories will be available to buy to go with the new console, including the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro controller, a USB-C camera for chat features, and a variety of new and exclusive games.

Nintendo confirmed the Switch 2 will be officially launching on June 5, 2025, offering ‘the next evolution in portable and home gaming’.
Gamers can share their game screen while chatting with friends to show what they’re up to. The Nintendo Switch 2 also allows users to connect face-to-face with the camera or other compatible USB-C cameras (sold separately).
The Nintendo Switch 2 is open for pre-order from Very – but don’t slack because it won’t be around for long.
Both EE and Amazon offered gamers the chance to register their interest in the Nintendo Switch 2, but due to popular demand, both retailers have currently stopped accepting new requests. Gamers who miss out on Argos and Very’s pre-order offers should keep an eye on EE and Amazon’s websites in case pre-orders open again.
