“British Airways Offers £2 Flights to Madrid & Toulon”

Date:

British Airways is currently offering flights to two stunning holiday destinations for as low as £2 to lift spirits during the winter season. Travel enthusiasts have the opportunity to escape to the sunny ambiance of Madrid, Spain, renowned for its iconic landmarks and lush parks, or venture to the picturesque coastal city of Toulon in France, boasting one of Europe’s most breathtaking harbours, all for just £2. However, this exclusive offer is limited to members of The British Airways Club who can avail the £2 flights using Avios points.

For those eligible, this deal presents an attractive option with flights departing from London City Airport to Madrid and Toulon. The allure of sunny skies, warm weather, and scenic views in these sought-after destinations is a welcome retreat from the dreary British weather, especially at a price lower than a cup of coffee.

Seats are now open for booking, starting at just £2 plus 21,500 Avios for Toulon and £2 plus 28,000 Avios for Madrid, inclusive of 23kg of checked baggage, enhancing the affordability of the offer.

Toulon, a new addition to British Airways’ summer route, offers an opportunity to explore the charming French city and its captivating harbour. Meanwhile, Madrid remains a popular choice with its vibrant art scene, diverse culinary experiences, and stunning architecture.

British Airways introduced Avios-Only flights in 2023 and has since operated 48 such flights to 16 destinations across Europe, the Caribbean, Africa, and the Middle East, including Cape Town, Barbados, Sharm El Sheikh, Málaga, and Marrakesh. The upcoming return flight from Madrid to London will mark the airline’s 50th dedicated Avios-Only flight.

Colm Lacy, Chief Commercial Officer of British Airways, expressed excitement over the release of these new Avios-Only flights, offering customers more opportunities to enjoy the perks of The British Airways Club. Adam Daniels, CEO of IAG Loyalty, highlighted the value of loyalty with the launch of these new flights to Toulon and Madrid, emphasizing the enhanced redemption opportunities during the peak summer season.
