A glimpse into a £30,000-per-cruise suite is as close as I’ll get to experiencing it firsthand. Recently, I had the opportunity to explore Disney Cruise Line’s luxurious Tower Suite on the Disney Wish cruise ship. The suite’s price varies based on the cruise’s duration and route, but it typically starts at £15,000 and is consistently fully booked.
The suite’s exclusivity is evident from the start with a dedicated check-in area, a private entrance, and even an elevator inside the ship’s funnel for convenience. Upon entering, the suite’s design draws inspiration from the popular animated film Moana, featuring captivating artwork and sculptures. The spacious living and dining area is beautifully furnished with sofas, tables, and a large dining area.
The suite’s size surpasses that of a typical home, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering grand views. A retractable TV integrated into a central island ensures uninterrupted views of the ship. The kitchen is well-equipped, including a stocked fridge and freezer with Mickey choc ice bars, a favorite among Disney fans.
Guests staying in the Tower Suite can enjoy in-room dining from the ship’s main restaurants and even have the Palo brunch served in their suite. The suite accommodates up to eight guests across two floors, with two master bedrooms, a children’s room with bunk beds, and an extra room that can serve as a bedroom or library.
The bedrooms feature spacious walk-in wardrobes, and the bathrooms are luxurious, resembling upscale spa settings with lavish tubs, showers, and Disney toiletries. Tower Suite guests also have access to the Concierge desk for assistance with activities, restaurant bookings, and exclusive lounge areas.
While experiencing the Tower Suite might be out of reach for many, the Disney Wish offers a range of other stateroom options that provide ample space at more affordable prices. During my recent trip, the Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with a verandah accommodated my partner, child, and me comfortably.
Beyond the accommodations, the Disney Wish offers a plethora of entertainment options, including performances, live shows, and themed dining experiences like the Star Wars and Frozen venues. The ship’s offerings, such as the AquaMouse water slide and diverse dining options, ensure a memorable cruise experience for all guests.
