Apple has introduced AppleCare One in the UK, extending its service to British customers with multiple Apple devices. Priced at £16.99 per month, AppleCare One covers up to three eligible devices, such as iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches. The subscription offers repair services or up to three replacement devices annually for accidental damages, loss, or theft.
AppleCare One enhances the existing AppleCare+ by allowing customers to protect multiple products under one plan. This consolidation could lead to significant cost savings, with potential monthly savings of up to £11.48 for users covering an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch compared to individual AppleCare+ plans.
One key benefit of AppleCare One is the flexibility to add eligible devices up to four years old to the plan, regardless of when they were purchased, as long as they are in good condition. This extended coverage surpasses the typical 60-day window for acquiring AppleCare+ after device purchase.
AppleCare One also simplifies the upgrade process by automatically adjusting the plan when a covered device is traded in for a replacement from Apple. Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, emphasized the customer-centric approach of AppleCare One, stating that it offers a straightforward and adaptable solution for protecting all eligible products under one plan.
With AppleCare One, Apple aims to provide UK customers with the trusted protection of AppleCare+ in a more convenient and flexible manner, ensuring peace of mind for all covered devices.
