Greene King is offering complimentary pints of Guinness this weekend to coincide with the start of the Six Nations rugby tournament. To claim your free pint, simply reserve a table for any Six Nations match on February 7 through the Greene King website and present your booking confirmation at the bar.
This promotion is valid at all Greene King sports pubs, including Flaming Grill, Hungry Horse, and Belhaven, as part of the new Fans Reunited campaign featuring Rugby World Cup champions Martin Johnson and Jason Robinson.

By launching alongside the Guinness Six Nations and offering fans a complimentary pint, we aim to facilitate moments where old acquaintances reconnect over a drink.”
Rugby legend Martin Johnson emphasized the power of rugby in fostering enduring friendships and community bonds. This initiative coincides with the announcement from the Treasury granting pubs and music venues a 15% reduction in business rates starting in April, following pressure to provide support after the budget changes in November and the conclusion of pandemic assistance.
The Treasury expects this relief to save the average pub around £1,650 next year. However, other hospitality businesses such as hotels and restaurants will not receive the same level of additional support. Treasury minister Dan Tomlinson highlighted the importance of this decision in alleviating financial burdens for pubs and music venues, ensuring their sustainability.
Emma McClarkin, chief executive of the BBPA, commended the Government for addressing concerns and implementing a tailored support package for pubs, mitigating immediate financial challenges and safeguarding their operations.
