Teenagers Kidnapped, Forced to Dig Own Graves, Escape

Date:

Two teenagers who were reportedly victims of a terrifying kidnapping incident where they were threatened at gunpoint and forced to dig their own graves have been discharged from the hospital, it has been revealed.

The two boys, aged 14 and 16, were allegedly abducted and held captive for several hours in a secluded area near Nantes, France, in an event believed to be linked to ongoing conflicts between rival drug factions, according to authorities.

Reportedly, the victims were forcibly taken into a vehicle and transported to a forest where they were stripped, physically assaulted, intimidated, and coerced to dig their own graves under threat of a firearm. Fortunately, they managed to escape and seek assistance at a nearby residence.

Law enforcement has initiated an inquiry into “violence and kidnapping with a weapon” following the incident that occurred on January 2.

The ordeal began around 1 am when the teenagers were abducted and taken to the location, and it only concluded approximately two hours later after they sought help from a resident in La Chapelle-sur-Erdre.

The homeowner contacted the police upon noticing that the boys were injured, with cuts on their fingers and faces.

One of the teenagers had sustained a stab wound in the thigh, as confirmed by Antoine Leroy from Nantes prosecutor’s office, who stated that the victims are now out of the hospital. He mentioned that these events are likely related to drug-related crimes and territorial disputes, as indicated by the French press agency.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, which is the latest in a series of disturbing occurrences involving youths amidst the ongoing drug conflicts in France. Experts have cautioned that organized criminal groups are increasingly involving children as young as 12 in trafficking illegal substances.

In a separate incident last month, eight individuals were detained on suspicion of murder after a teenager’s death was broadcast live on social media, followed by his body being set on fire.

The charred remains of the 19-year-old individual were discovered by passersby in a remote area near Nîmes in the south of France on July 15, indicating signs of a meticulously planned execution.

The victim had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the head, and his body seemed intentionally burned.

Further investigations revealed that the man’s death was livestreamed on social media as part of an escalating gang rivalry in Nîmes.

A surge in violent crimes in the region has been attributed to gangs relocating from Marseille, prompting the implementation of a city-wide curfew for individuals under 16 last summer.
