The daughter of a man with cannibalistic tendencies has shared her enduring love for her father, despite his heinous act of consuming her stepmother. Jamie-Lee Arrow vividly described her childhood home as resembling a scene from a horror movie due to her father’s notorious reputation as “The Skara Cannibal.”
In 2010, Jamie-Lee’s father, Isakin Drabbad, committed the brutal murder of his girlfriend, Helle Christensen, and proceeded to consume parts of her body. He was convicted of murder and subsequently confined to a mental health facility in 2011. However, in 2020, he transitioned to outpatient status and was granted an apartment in his hometown in Sweden.
Recalling her past, Jamie-Lee revealed that her father and his girlfriend initially appeared content but their relationship deteriorated to the point where Helle ominously warned Jamie-Lee of Drabbad’s intentions to harm her. The chilling encounter was recounted by Jamie-Lee during an interview, where she shared how Helle forewarned her of the impending danger.
In the lead-up to Helle’s tragic demise, amidst a violent altercation between her and Isakin, Jamie-Lee and other children were present and witnessed the harrowing events. The situation escalated to a point where Jamie-Lee feared for her own life or that of Helle.
On November 12, 2010, Isakin Drabbad carried out the gruesome act of murdering Helle by slitting her throat, decapitating her, and consuming parts of her flesh after cooking them with salt and cannabis leaves from his garden.
Despite the traumatic past and disturbing upbringing, Jamie-Lee expressed her unwavering love for her father. She acknowledged that while she can’t condone his actions or have him in her life, the bond between a parent and child remains unbreakable.
Reflecting on her aspirations for her children, Jamie-Lee emphasized her commitment to providing them with a safe and loving environment, shielding them from any darkness or negativity that she experienced in her own upbringing.
