Research conducted by price comparison specialists, Idealo, has identified the top 10 locations for indulging in a roast without straining your wallet. Other cities like Hull, Sheffield, and Swansea in the north and Wales also provide affordable roast dinner options.
Residents of Sunderland and visitors alike have the opportunity to enjoy great deals on roast dinners at establishments like The Dun Cow, known for its generous servings and cozy, traditional setting.
Another recommended pub is The Welcome Tavern, offering a delectable Sunday lunch praised for its value and ample portions. A patron described the pub as a “lovely historic nautical pub.”
