The former glamour model, 46, is set to hit the stage with 90s TV icon Bobby Davro next week and she will take to the stage for two performances of the pantomime Pinocchio on April 14 at The Elgiva Theatre in Chesham.

The TV star explained that she has had the busiest week of her life rehearsing for the upcoming pantomime shows, but added that it hasn’t all gone to plan.

“The only time that the whole family have got together in all these years to watch me in panto, was the only panto where I forgot my words. I so angry that my mind just went blank. I think it was the nerves because my whole family were there.”

“The audience wouldn’t have noticed because I just said whatever, because obviously I know the story but I was so p****ed off. But I have re-invited you all to come to watch the Croydon panto instead where I know I’ll be good.”

Over the festive period, Katie sparked howls of laughter alongside Atomic Kitten legend Kerry Katona, 44, as they starred as the ugly sisters in a production of Cinderella. Audiences attending the festive stage show at Northwich Memorial Court in Cheshire were delighted as they pop culture icons hammed it up on stage and entertained locals.

After the success of her Cinderella performance, a few weeks later the producer of the Pinocchio show revealed the news via Instagram that she would be taking part.

“We are delighted to announce that Katie Price and Casualty’s Amanda Henderson will be sharing the role of Fairy across the dates of this year’s Easter Panto tour. They will join the previously announced casting of Bobby Davro as Stromboli plus Easter Panto favourites Ryan Greaves, Kate Salmon and Phyl Harries.”
