Boris Becker has joyfully welcomed the birth of his daughter, Zoë Vittoria Becker, with his wife, Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro. The tennis legend, aged 58, and his wife, aged 34, celebrated the arrival of their newborn just ahead of Becker’s birthday. The couple shared a heartwarming photo holding their baby’s hand on Instagram, introducing the newest member of their family to the world.
Last year, Becker and Carvalho exchanged vows in Portofino, surrounded by 150 guests. Their anticipation for their first child was made public in June, followed by a babymoon trip to Portofino in October.
Expressing his deep connection with his wife, Becker described feeling an immediate intellectual bond since their first lunch together in 2018. Despite the age gap, he noted their harmonious meeting of minds.
Zoë is Becker’s fifth child, with his previous children stemming from his past marriages. His eldest son, Noah Gabriel, was born in 1994 during his marriage to Barbara Feltus, followed by Elias Balthasar in 1999. Becker’s relationship with Feltus ended due to his extramarital affair with Angela Ermakova, resulting in the birth of his daughter Anna in 2000.
Reflecting on his past family challenges, Becker acknowledged his mistakes and the impact on his relationships. After his divorce from Barbara in 2001, Becker married former model Lily Kerssenberg, with whom he had a nine-year union that concluded in 2018, welcoming their son, Amadeus Benedict Edley Luis Becker, in 2010.
Becker expressed gratitude for Carvalho’s unwavering support during his hardships, including his time in jail for fraud. He admitted his surprise at her loyalty during his challenging times when he had nothing to offer.
