With cryotherapy already established in the realm of health and wellness, Brazilian brand Hair.TOXX has introduced this technology to hair care. By utilizing deeply nourishing products and sub-zero temperatures, Hair.TOXX aims to restore, hydrate, and enhance the shine of damaged hair strands, claiming up to a 264% increase in shine.

Hair.TOXX offers a personalized repair regimen using products infused with natural actives from the Amazon rainforest, sealed in with an innovative cryotherapy device reaching temperatures as low as -16℃.
The treatment begins with a double wash using a Hair.TOXX shampoo suitable for the specific hair type, followed by the application of a customized serum and mask blend tailored to address the hair’s requirements. In my case, a blend of Hair.TOXX’s Revitalizing Serum and Protective Mask was utilized. This mixture is distributed evenly across sections of the hair during the treatment.
The application process involves passing a cold -16℃ device, resembling ordinary straighteners but with frost-covered plates, over each treated hair section. This action effectively seals the hair cuticles, locking in the intensive treatment without altering the natural hair texture, unlike procedures such as Brazilian blowouts that straighten curly hair.
Despite the hair feeling cold to the touch post-treatment, there is no discomfort on the scalp or shoulders, unlike the sensation experienced during exposure to cold water or air.
To complete the process, the treatment is rinsed out, and the hair is styled as desired through blow drying. Additionally, Hair.TOXX offers a lightweight oil for application before or after blow drying, if necessary.
The Hair.TOXX treatment, including application and blow drying, typically takes 10-15 minutes. Upon completion, I was amazed by the incredibly smooth and soft feel of my hair, a feat challenging to achieve with regularly bleached hair like mine.
